African Youth can Apply to be Mentored by Leading African CEOs

Updated: Jan 17

Youth from Sub-Saharan Africa between the ages of 18 and 30 are invited to apply for the #All4Mentorship Programme that will give 100 promising young Africans the opportunity of a lifetime to be coached and mentored by the continent’s leading CEOs.

The #All4Mentorship Programme is open across all industry and business fields and a key component of the programme is the transfer of knowledge, skills, and expertise required to enable youth and promote employability in sub-Saharan Africa at the expert hands of leaders in their fields.

A major challenge facing young people in Sub-Saharan Africa when they begin their careers in the gap between developing soft and agile skills. Through a three-month virtual mentoring program, the #All4Mentorship Programme bridges the mentee's skill-set gap and career development needs. This is accomplished by matching applicants to specific requests based on their sector of interest, perceived skills gap, and personal or career goals.

The goal of the mentorship program is to enable a lifetime of meaningful social networks and relationships after the program has ended. By providing young people with the necessary tools, support, and opportunities, the #All4Mentorship Programme enhances their employment prospects for the future.

More than 200 young people have been matched with professionals and industry pioneers through this programme over the past two years. In addition to offering mentees personal and professional guidance, mentors have provided them with tools and resources that they can use to improve their quality of life.
