Updated: Jan 17

In celebration of Youth Month, the All4Youth is hosting a Youth Career Hookup event on 14 June 2023 in Nelspruit Mbombela. The event is designed to expose South African youth to the job market and introduce them to careers available in-demand sectors such as Climate Change, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Finance and Entrepreneurship.

The event will be held at TUT - Mbombela Campus - Madiba Dr & Techno Dr, Sonheuwel, Mbombela, 1201 and for those youths unable to attend, they will be able to join the virtual event online via live stream on the All4Youth Sub Saharan Regional Alliance YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/@all4youthssa.

The event can accommodate 500 youth between the ages 18-30, lots of prizes and giveaways which include R5000 cash prize and gift hampers from alliance partners. A live DJ will also be on-site to add to the festivities. Capacity for online attendees is unlimited.

“We’re hoping to expose the youth of the region, as well as countrywide via the virtual extension of the Career Hookup,” says Noxolo Mnisi, All4Youth Southern Africa spokesperson, “and by doing so, provide them with knowledge about the numerous opportunities available in these in-demand sectors. By creating awareness of these new career paths, the Alliance for Youth hopes to attract a new generation of job-seekers to careers that they may not be aware of.”

As added incentive, attendees, both in-person and virtually can win cash prizes and mobile phones.
